Democrats tonight have laid down the gauntlet spelling out in detail the likely impeachment charges against president trump afterweeks of hearings. The house intelligence committee today released its impeachment report. It offers new evidence.

Our peter alexander has details tonight, house democrats mapping out their case for impeachment in a 300-page report, accusing president trump of abusing his power by pressuring ukraine to help benefit his reelection and that obstructing congress's efforts to investigate the evidence of the president's misconduct is overwhelming. The report reads, and so too is the evidence of his obstruction of congress. First of all, this is not about ukraine. This is about our democracy and, if wedon't care about this, we can well be assured. The president will be back at it doing this all over again democrats arguing by pushing for investigations into the biden's and the 2016 election, while military aid was being withheld. The president placed his own personal and political interests above the national interests and in the process endangered us national security highlighting president trump's recent public calls for ukraine and china to investigate by the report warns that continued solicitation of foreign interference in a u. s. election presents a Clear and present danger the report names more than 500 times, rudy giuliani, the president's personal lawyer who witnesses say mr. trump directed to be his point.
