Every year, thousands of visitors travel to white island to experience its dramatic landscape. This volcano off the coast of new zealand erupted, leaving many of its visitors either dead or seriously injured. Terrified onlookers captured footage of the volcano's eruption documenting just how quickly the events unfolded. I'M emmanuel - and this is verified - this is the very edge of the main volcan ...

They were on one of the two tour groups that were on the island that day 2:00 p. m. a web cam captures a group of people standing right at the edge of the volcano rim, the webcam isowned by jeona. They monitor geological hazards and the camera captures images. Every 10 minutes and uploads them to their site. I spoke to jonah, they confirm the authenticity of these images and they also told me that they had decided to remove from their site a series of images taken moments before the eruption to tokyo.
