[ music, ] oracle conducted an interesting study and they found that over 75 % of people were already intending to return their gifts that they hadn't received. Yet so it looks like returns, are going to be very very hot this year. I would wait until after january 2nd to return your gifts, but try to do it before january 15th and the reason why i say that is because we're going to see a lot of ret ...
rning happening right within that window after christmas. And so there will be long lines and frustrated salespeople and if the terms will not be ideal for you, if you're trying to return during that time, many many retailers are offering extended return policies, throughjanuary, 15th or even the end of january. So you have a little bit of extra time to return those gifts, if you need to so, if you do need to go back into the store to say, make a return, the stores might be crowded and the lines might be long, but you will find some Items on clearance, we will see lots of things from holiday, themed items. Gift sets anything, that's specific to holiday will be deeply discounted, because merchants are looking to clear that merchandise out, so they can make room for the next season going into the new year. Gives you a great opportunity to start fresh, so the first thing sheet you should lookat is whether you're bringing holiday debt into the new year and, if so, take a look at your credit cards and look at the one that has the highest apr and focus on That one first pay more off on that one. If you can and then of course go down the list and then to avoid this for the future start saving now for the holiday season.
