Congresswoman alexandra ocasio cortez making more headlines this time. It'S her latest demand that home ownership should be quote legislated as a human right. She says the right to have a home is more important than someone's right to make a profit. Salt is home ownership a right? No! I don't think it is, i think, being able to find affordable. Decent housing is probably something that everyone in ...
this country should have access to, but honestly, one by one, whether it's college or housing, or whatever, we're taking away the responsibility of the individual to provide for themselves and their family. I think that is the most undermining thing. We could do in our society and we're doing itevery day. I think you're a spot on when you talk about regulations and the the number of hurdles and red tape there are to actually provide the affordable housing, for example, in la they have this that passed, this law, where you can repurpose vacant properties to take motels and Turn them into affordable spots for or maybe even like, homeless, shelters, and i think that that needs to happen more often, so we could deal with the situation in america on the market in a market faster like i know it's politics and that's the way it has To go with all the red tape, but it's just so unfortunate. I don't necessarily think right, even though youcould talk about how maas lowe's hierarchy of needs but go ahead, jon look leads are not needs, they're, not rights. I mean what is a right or a right. Is the right to act? It'S the right to action, so this whole idea that, well, you have a right to health care, housing, education, all that's got to be paid for created by someone else and when the founders talked about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, they talked about your own Pursuit of those values not simply having them handed to you by force by others, aoc once again, is out to lunch, and she also said some about privilege to earn a profit. Yes, it's aprivilege, no people earn what they do.

Look cory. Booker just proposed a subsidy for renters. Now it's housing, education, health care mandated play of the grave. I don't know the thousand dollars a year when you were when you're born until you're 18. I don't know where all this money's gon na come from, but the old cliche that it does not grow on. I don't think they've heard that enough. I don't know where weird this started. I certainly don't know where this ends as well. You know it. It started in the constitution, but they said the pursuit of happyness, they didn't say you're gary happy. It went from being having the freedom to pursue happinessto having things, and i think they're having things is something that, as jonathan said, somebody has to pay for those things. A little different, though, having things it's the fact that we need a roof, we need housing to survive.

We need a roof over our head. I think it's just that the very basics and get it christine huh. I understand that i agree with you, but some people just bought somehow fall through the cracks of the system, and so sometimes there needs to be a little bit of a cushion but having these discussions that could go on for a while, but we've got no. We'Ve got it at that. Thank you. Gay.
