All right, this was a big win for the president when an appeals court allowed on the white house asylum plan the hole that is to keep those trying to get into this country seeking asylum in mexico until it's all adjudicated on the phone with us now is Mcallen, texas, mayor republican, jim darling, they are thank you for joining us. This was a big win for the president, but already i'm hearing talk ...
of appeals over that appeal. Where do you see this going well, at least for us? It'S not going to impact us for a couple of days, anyways i checked with border patrol they're holding 7,500, getting ready to least release them to our cityprobably about a thousand a day, so hopefully it'll get resolved before that. But it's really kind of complicated here on our border, because you know california and el paso, where they have a wall and they can keep them separate. Most of ours come across the river, as opposed to waiting. You know up to anywhere between 10 and 15 days across the bridge they're held in minosa. For that purpose, we've kind of had that already at the bridges we hold them back until they can come across they process about 20 a day and that some people waiting in reno so the mexico city at a center. They have that the mexican government runs and then mostthere are a lot of them come across the river because they don't away how long do they wait, in other words you're there? Obviously they can't all be taken care of right now. I know part of the funding. The emergency funding the administration asks for reported security was just to hire more, i guess, judges and to handle the process and get it get it. You know boost it along, but leaving that aside, those who are let's say they're there in your town or they're there in the united states period they're, essentially given a court date to return right, i mean this would mean that they might be given the same court Date but they're they'rewaiting it out in mexico right well, actually in our town when they come to our town, they're, getting what they call the firmeza, which is a promise to appear in court which gets them past the checkpoint. So the cities are going.

That'S the policy as of today. You know whether that gets changed here or not. I'M not sure. So that's what that's what's happening, the ones that are waiting to come across the bridge for whatever reason, they're doing that that's a 10 to 15 day wait. But that's just to get across the bridge, get processed and get a court date. So we'll we'll see - i talked to the border patrol this morning, and their mainconcern right now is what to do with the 7500 that they're holding in detention facilities on this side waiting through at least as of yesterday, waiting till at least to some places in united States all right man, we wish you well. I'Ve got a lot of headaches to deal with. Thank you very much general, yet complicated situation yeah, to put it mildly, sir, all right. Thank you very, very much.
